I just spotted this bit of "sneak preview" over at another figure site and thought it could be interesting to Armorama members as well.

Many will probably criticize the big.... on the women, but I like them.. they will give some contrast and variety compared to the rest of the male figures.
I also like the fact that with some minor modifications, they could be used in different settings.. even civilian

In my opionion, IDF woman soldiers are one of the hottest in the world. The only thing I may criticize is the Tavor assault rifle. I think they are issued to IDF special forces only.
Nevertheless a good addition to the figures range. What about one of them on Meng´s D9?

I guess the clothes on the figures are a bit too tight, compared to those in the link Hans-Hermann posted... but, still.. I like them

Thanks for sharing Mario,
very nice Figures and usefull not only for Military stuff. Looks more like Angelina Jolie with that big bo... but sweat Figures ;-). Radek the sculpter knows whats good I think they are usuable too with little converting as asian Figures perhaps. It´s a question how big these Figures will be. Womens are normaly smaller so hopefully Black Dog has noticed this. With such a women next to you in combat i could not swear to hit the target every time. I like them both.

According to wikipepia The rifle is in use by all the IDF regular Infantry battalions and brigades, except for Paratroopers and Kfir Brigades.[citation needed]
But is going to be replaced by the micro tavor

Ahem! Is this black dog or HORN dog?
Seriously though, my only concern is that this cartoonish sculpt might underscore the professionalism and contributions of female soldiers of the IDF. At least she's not bent over with her butt in the air, wearing daisy dukes and a knotted up top while checking the engine on a tank or something.

These figgies are much, much, better looking than the "Wayne's World" Dana Carvy look-alike with the cell phone just released by Royal Models.

Nice to see woman military figures for a change. Way too busty for my likeing though which has more to do with the fact that military clothing is heavy and tends to have an androgenous drape to it, it's just not curve hugging in reality.
Still they will make a nice addition and as Mike above mentioned they are heaps better than the recent Royal Modals efforts. I can imagine the cry of pain if they'd (RM) released a male tankcrewman looking shocked at his cell phone .....

This one doesn't look realistic at all to me - too busty, and for a guy who's a big fan of, well, bustiness, they're just too "out there".
I agree. I like the look Black Dog was trying to achieve, not heavily armored or equipped, but I don't think they managed to produce realistic figures.
A shame really as I would love to add something like this to my IDF models. So Rob, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your voice with the other resin manufactuters will be heard and that we'll soon see a more realistic rendition of IDF female soldiers...

???????
IDF Female soldiers or the model for the 2014 IDF calender?
Though there may be some women out there with a figure like the resin lady, I consider it less likely she represents the average ( if there is )

Judging from the photos I wholeheartedly second that. But then, these are maybe only 5 - 10% of all IDF female soldiers, and chosen by the photographer for their looks
(must plan a trip to Israel and check it out)
