Can anyone answer a question for me about this bin. I am trying to figure out which exact Kursk Tigers these were used on. I have several decal sets that include what looks like the same bin as the Panzer Art bin with the side mounting brackets with the 3 bolts. The problem is that the width of the Panzer art sits fine on the left pistol port side but covers part of the escape hatch. I have noticed on pictures of "tiki" that the bin looked like it was carved out to allow the escape hatch to open. My question is, was this particular bin designed primarily for the initial production with the dual pistol ports? Was it used on a number of Kursk early Tigers and they all had the hatch side carved out? I know there were a number of different bins used on the initial and early Tigers including the panzer iv bin and the odd looking slanted bin (which I also have). I have 2 of the Panzer Art Kursk bins and am trying to figure out which Tigers may be correct for them to be used for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert

"Kursk Tiger" is a very broad term.
I can't find any of those bins in 503, a few in 505, plenty in "Das Reich", some in "Totenkopf", and some in "Grossdeutschland". But I can't easily say if any particular Tiger was at Kursk.

The bin was designed for turrets without a hatch. When used with the hatch, it could be placed slightly off-center, and the left side could be cut away as well as the right.
