I always watch hobby debates about whether or not its realistic for us, as model builders, to depict vehicles with parts that are mismatched in color.

As a 25 year Army veteran I have always chuckled at those who say you won't see modern vehicles with mismatched color parts.

As the owner/editor of www.hmmwvinscale.com, as I travel I am always looking for an opportunity to photograph Humvees of any type and configuration. Well, while supporting weapon range operations for my Light Infantry Battalion November 1-3 2013, I came across an extreme example of this on going model builder debate. These pictures were taken at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. The vehicle is operated by the range cadre.

This will undoubtedly be a future model project for me.

Edit: Relooked the pics. That 1SG or CSM must be having twin COWS with that!!! Dayum, WORSE than any Gypsy Truck I've ever seen!!!!
