I think it's a matter of knowing which weapons were used in a particular time frame, and going from there. You can find ALL of them used, just not all in one set as far as I know. For example, I seem to remember the Galil being included in the DML Modern MG set. Of course, Live-Resin does the GPMG.

I can't remember who does it but some one does some. If you can find the D.M.L. set of Israeli para's they come with some real nice weapons. I found a set at the L.H.S. last year so I ended up with 3 and might be willing to trade a set if those are what you need. bob d.

I specifically did not mention that set because the figures are said to be way too large. I think at least one of the weapons in that set was off in scale as well, compared to another of the same weapon DML did. So...I'd be cautious using them. If the others in the set are the correct scale then yeah, you get a few more. But again, depending upon the era you want to depict, you might be able to using some, or none of them.

Verlinden used to have one white metal set (Galil, Uzi, RPG-7 ...) in their range, say for the 80s period of time.

That's true. The DML IDF figures (their first set) are closer to 1/33 or 1/32 scale and the guns are too, especially the GPMG in the set. The figures themselves are so-so and suffer from "rubbery" arms, specifically at the elbows and hands where the joint bends are not very well defined.

I seem to recall that Italeri made a Modern Weapons Set that included the Uzi and FNFAL. I don't know how long the Israelis used the Galil. It was deemed too expensive especially since the US provided them with M16A1. I don't know if anyone makes the Tavor.

Can you be more specific: which firearm(s)are you looking for? I've the Italeri set and you're welcome to the Uzis in it if you want.
