Hi Jimmy
The pledge floor polish you want has in small writing at bottom of label "formally Klear new improved formular" this is pretty much the same as Klear/Future. It is a milky liquid but dries clear. I use it and it works just the same as Klear. It is made by Johnsons.
Hope this helps........oh you can buy it online if you can't get it at your local shop.

hi I ... want to know if any acrylic flow aid from a good art store will work .
... jimmy

In regards to acrylic flow aides or flow enhancers, I've used both Grumbacher and Golden brands with equally good results with water-based acrylic paints. The Golden brand has more "body," but I add all of these to my pre-mixed acrylic thinner before I add the thinner to the paints, so I've not noticed any difference with the end results. The same goes for acrylic drying retarders. I've used both Grumbacher and Golden brands with equally good success.

Frankly, I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the major brands of artist acrylic flow aides or drying retarders - i.e. Winsor & Newton should work just was well.

I don't use any additives with Tamiya paints, tho, except about 3-5% X-22 clear added back into paints reduced for airbrushing. The clear retards the drying slightly and allows the paints to level out at bit to get smoother coats.

HTH,

Hi Jimmy
You don't need to thin Future before you use it.
