Hello there
Has anyone used the Windsor&Netwon Artisan water soluble oils? Are they good to paint figures? If so, I'll go with them certainly, I prefier not to use solvents in my home with my two little children moving around.

Are these not gouache? Some of the gouache comes in tubes, and yes it's water soluble. However, for lack of toxic components, wouldn't acrylic be better? Un Saludo, Jim

Hello Jimbrae, thanks for answering
Nop, they are not gouache. Artisan is a special oil paint made by W&N wich has the particularity to be soluble in water. I have been painting in acrilics for a while, but wanted to try oil, specialy for figure painting. I saw this oil paints and thought that may be a good alternative, any way, wanted to hear some opinions first. If you are intrested in this kind of paints you may find information in W&N web page: www.winsornewton.com
Thanks again
Best regards from the middle of the world
