I've started building Dragon's Northwest Europe SAS jeep and would like to try painting it in Mickey Mouse camo. Can anyone recommend either a tutorial or offer advice on a simple, but effective, method for masking? I don't have much in the way of fancy gear.
Thanks!

Hi Brian
I'm currently building a M-10 Achilles for NW Europe that has the black over green camo that is very close to the Micky Mouse Camo, in point of fact a couple of my references call it a modified Micky Mouse pattern.
To sum it up I put masking tape on some glossy card stock, I used hotel advertisements you can get at rest stops along the Interstate. Used a paper punch to get my rounded masking tape then peeled and put on the model to be painted. You could also prob use thin plastic stock or anything that lets you peel your tape off without damage.

and there is also a walk around on my site of a tilly done up in a Micky Mouse pattern..
Hillman Light Utility Truck Walk Around
And anyways Here is a link to the part of my build blog where I did the masking and painting.

hope it helps. took me several days to figure out a good way to mask curves.
