Chrome on airbrush peeling

The chrome on my Paasche VL is peeling off near the nozzle, exposing the brass underneath. Is this OK? Will it lead to breakdowns in the future, or affect performance or cleaning?

It shouldn't be a problem..... I've got a tip set w/ NO chrome on it and it works fine (the tip is a H set)

I have the same airbrush,, My chrome came off too No problems... What Size number of nozzle and needle do you guys use?
