Hi There.
If your m60 Blazer is Lebanon bound then .30 cal mgs are right. As the Idf upgraded them into later variants with shrouded barrel for 105mm and merkava tracks etc then fn mags appeared. Also the resrve units would have had older versions still with .30 cals.
Happy modelling from Richard

If you use rubber-pad tracks than use M1919 and no thermal sleeve.
If you use Merkava all-steel tracks than use FN MAG 58 (not M240 which is a US version that has a heat shield over the barrel).
Remember that the TC use a stockless MG.

Does anyone know if the M1919s were re-chambered for 7.62x51 or kept 30.06?

Not sure where you Guys get your information from, but here's a Magach 6B (M60A1) with T-142 track, unshrouded barrel and an FN MAG (possible .30 cal on other side still?).
Even the upgraded Magach 6B GALs could still have T-142 track (note also larger gunner's doghouse and wind sensor, new bustle bin):
For that kit you could go with either one.
Jim
