Stumbled on something at Sprue from Gunze called Mr. Polymer Coating. I think it's supposed to serve the same role as Pledge or maybe something like Alclad's Aqua Gloss Clear but I'm not sure. Gunze makes some very clever stuff and a lot is rare in the US. But it's pricey and would like to know if I'd use it. Anyone give me a tip?

Primarily designed for the auto modeler to achieve a very
high gloss finish by polishing it, with the supplied cloth.
May also have other uses for the rest of modelers.
Cheers,
