Hi;
O.K. !--- So we have another BTR-70 and another T-62 GOOD NEWS for us Armor Geeks
The one question that I have is WHY SPW !? This term was only used by the Former NVA: Or East Germany if you like, is this vehicle coming with DDR Markings ? Or is there something that's on this kit only the NVA used ?
As for the Tiran-6.--why Not since we already have the Tiran-5 !
CHEERS; MIKE.

As best I can tell the only difference between the BTR and SPW-70 is that the East Germans added some wheel chocks to the left and right side of the vehicle. The kit is probably nothing more than an early BTR-70 with NVA markings and the wheel chocks, which is good news for us NVA fanatics. We can finally get rid of our old Revell SPW-70's.

Hi Guys;
O.K. not too take anything away from Trumpeter, BUT if that's all that's included in this latest kit then I am confused which is not Uncommon these days. That cant be all there is, even the Old Dragon of the BTR-70 included DDR markings. They had too release a New BTR-70 as a vehicle in use with the NVA. They could have given you the early version and just included extra Decals. Sorry But; The BTR-80a kit would be IMHO more Exciting.---Sorry Trumpeter
Guess this Shows you just how much Mula they have.
