Hi all
I'am still working on AFV Club's M109A6 kits.
Here some WIP pics :
I use 2 AFV Club kits with Real Model engine bay and Legend stowage kit
If I have the complete markings for the 152 (the same as the one in the Tamiya kit) I don't have the name of the unit and markings for the 252. Have some one this information ? TIA
Here a resized view from a 252's Paladin :

Hi Pascal
The bumper markings of "252" should read
4I 3-16F ----------------- B-13
= B Battery, 3rd Battalion, 16th Field Artillery.
This one has "Bad boy" written on the bore evacuator.
Keep on the good work !
PS : I have a few other views of "Bad boy" (and "152" as well) I can send you if need be...

I guess you'd better ask Gino

All I can say is that several Paladins have "252" markings (same for "152" ).
Pics should be in your mailbox soon.

The vehicle names all start with the letter of the Battery.
USUALLY the large tactical number has to do with the battery and the vehicle number within the battery, with the C2 element possessing the first number.
Thx Rob for your help.
If I good understand, 152 is for A battery and 252 for the B

No need to wait on me to answer. There are plenty of guys who provide great info here.
As Rob stated, the name is a nickname for each gun and the first letter goes with the battery designation; A, B, C, etc.
I do believe 152 was for A battery as well. I am not fully familiar with the 4 ID numbering system. In 3 ID, we used a two number system. It seems to follow a similar logic though.
Your Paladins are looking good. Is that the Legend stowage set up on top?

In 3ID, the chevron denoted the Platoon. ^ was 1st, > was 2nd, v was 3rd, and < was 4th.
