As for the weld seams, would Archer's sets work?
I have been working on a Leopard AS1 for a while now (including the full turret and new upper hull), and the Archer welds, no. The spacing between each (weld) is just too far apart.
I was given a set of PE welds from a mate of mine, and they are made by Verlinden.

I love them. Have no association with the aforementioned, and it has been over 10 years since I have worked with any thing from them, but again, love them.
