Hi
need help on dio.i am building a armoured train in 1 72 and want to have the loco tender being toped up froma pool or stream by a hose via a pump to tender. Is there a way i can get the water ripling around the hose in the pool and also gushing out of hose at the top of the tender.

Hey Barry. acrylic medium gel. Work the ripples with a small toothpick around the in section of the hose. For the out pour just start with a small section where you want it to be pouring in to the tender. Start with a small amount on the bottom of your hose and drag it down into the tender. Let it dry slightly and repeat it untill you have an uneven looking pour, like what comes out of your faucet. Stuff is white but dries clear. You can tint it with acriyic paint to make it dirty if you want. Hope this helps your build. Bob d.

I would imagine any would so long as it's water based. The brands I am using now is Liquitex Basics. Been using it here and there for around 10 years I think.
