Good day, ladies and gentlemen!

Today I begin to build a model of the British self-propelled artillery Archer from Bronco.

This is a great kit!

Got me already assembled the engine and transmission, but it is not terrible.
Machine based on the Valentine and interesting in that weapon in her puts "backwards."

607 parts Archer + 432 trucks + 6 with clear plastic + 208 etched.
The interior of the fighting compartment and engine, working suspension and tracks.
In general, to be fun (=

In general, I will be glad to advice, comments, photographs and various materials!

Had to use two knives that would bend it.

Archer. The first day.

1. First I pulled glued filters, drilled holes and put them on a wire that it was possible to change their position.

2. Continued refinement of what I have given. Gently put trolleys racks, filled them.

3. Assemble laying Ammunition, drilled holes, imitating the "empty space".

Thanks to this miraculous machine on each hole took less than 3 minutes.

Just made a pair of "closed" ammo.

4. Glued etched whether loop, whether the handle. With them was difficult. At first spent almost an hour ruined a couple of instances, the last decides a few minutes.

In general - so far. Interesting here is a question - what color to paint the space transmission?

Archer. Second day.

1. 5 hours spent on the production of etched "clips" for projectiles in combat pack. A total of 18 rounds. Must be 26, decided to make "make war" self-propelled.

2. Generally all day doing interior design. Many details are not glued, so do not be surprised cracks in some places.

3. Did the radio (12 parts = 7 plastic + 5 etching. radio casing = 5 plastic and 2 etched) headphones (2 plastic+3 etching) and microphone (2 parts). Oh, it was something ...

4. About the color of the walls took transmission and engine compartment (photo taken at the Crusader). Left to figure out how this color are mixed. May have an idea?

Archer. Day three.

1. In general, goes like this. Do not be surprised cracks - combat compartment as seen not glued, set for fitting. As you can see - self-propelled gun in looking toward the stern.

2. Drill out and made flaps on transmission compartment to be seen transmission.

3. Transmission compartment painted in primary colors and gloss varnish. Used products TAMIYA company. Tomorrow I'm going to spoil.

4. Immediately wash was done on air filters.

5. Continued to collect interior self-propelled gun. Looks pretty cute. Almost all traces of closed pushers various bags and boxes, but some still had to putty. I think in three days I will complete interior and begin to paint it.

Archer. Day four.

1. Already this picture to emerge. The walls of the fighting compartment are not glued, as gun, and gun carriage.

2. The interior, too, almost all not glued. Only need to finalize the inside shield guns and small roof for the driver.

3. As it turned out - self-propelled weapons crew (SMG STEN) was not installed correct, carefully removed, altered.

4. Worked with oil in transmission compartment, drying wait, did volumetric dirt on the floor, slightly soiled everything inside. Further still be work with it.

5. Assembled cannon and carriage.

6. What's interesting - shutter 17-pdr worker. Using the lever, the shutter is opened as well as closed. In cannon now stands ammo, which later pulled out.

P.S. Photo on mobile phone.

Archer. Day five.

1. The main task for today was - completely finish the transmission compartment. Overall happened like this.

2. Glued the shell halves. Here it is time to disappointment. As it turned out - the top part was bent, had long and hard to keep the items. Just noticed that the foldingSheet on the shelves did not reach the body, you need to build.

Archer. Day eight.

1. Today is nothing special to show, for most of the day spent trying to stick together and to dock walls. Until now, not glued to the end.
But finally soiled interior. It remains only to paint gun and carriage, but this is when all paint self-propelled.

2. Assembled and completed the entire front of cabin. Loops for tarps, antenna of sprue, Browning, spare truck to mount on the forehead the housing, fixing replacement rollers and cables, wiring and cables - the homemade.
3. Closed interior napkin, securing with masking tape. Homemade color-stop (White Glue + Fairy in the proportion of 10/2 and a little paint for color) closed the spotlight and lights.
