I am building the 1/25 Panther G and noticed it still has the original lower hull where the motor would be mounted and the drive sproket still has internal gears.. I think that if it is motorized, it can probably be converted to R/C also..

I have the Panther A and have just completeed the G.The motorization in the A is for flat out running.TO RC this puppy, you may need 2 motors/drivetrains,to power each track seperately. Also the appropriate servos/and reciever and batteries.
There seems to be plenty of room to do it. (++)

I've got the dual motorization system that makes this kit wire R/C. It would not be too difficult to get an R/C receiver inside with a two channel servo to make it radio controlled.

I built the Acadmy 1/25 Jagdpanther (pics of it are in my profile page) and there was lots of room to make this one R/C. Although this was the older kit I can't see the new one being much different.

Hi guys.
I had a good look at the Panther G a few days ago, but held off buying it until I could find more info on the kit.
A quick google found very little, so I'd apreciate a quick rundown from anyone who has built it.
How does it build up? Any glaring mistakes or omissions in the kit?
It looked decent for the price but the " It has motor holes, so it's a toy" thing put me off. :-)
Thanks
Tim
