Hello folks,
It's been a long time since I posted something finished, I have not doing much modelling but I managed to finished this vehicle and I wanted to share it.
The kit was built to represent a Chilean Mowag Piraña 6x6 APC belonging to the Chilean Battalion in Haiti this year. I was deployed as part of the peacekeeping mission in that country and this was one of the vehicles I was in charge, after a long range recce mission, hence the heavy dry mud of the weathering. Actually, the model was built while I was deployed.
I used the Canadian Grizzly from Trumpeter and I did some mods to bring it to the vehicle used by the Chilean forces, some of them are the rear upper hull hatch, 2 extra periscopes and rifle hatches on the sides and some smaller details. Was painted with Testors Enamels, Tamiya and Vallejo acylics and weathered with MIG pigments and artist oils.

Hope you like it and comments welcome
Cheers

Hi Klaus,
nice to see you back !
Considering the amount of mud on the vehicle, i think you could add some over the rear doors which now look too clean.
