No idea if it was ever released but Tankograd announced one over a year ago.

Yes I saw that and was very hopefull as it looks very well done but nothing ever came of it. I PM'd him last week, so far no joy.
Doesn't the T-64 and T-80 have some commonality? I was thinking of starting with the Revell T-80 and then heading down the ol' scratch-building path.

Kerry,
You might want to ask this question in the Russian/Soviet forum as they have a T-64 thread there. As for using the Revell T-80 as a base for a T-64, I think that the T-72 M1 would be a better choice. The T-80 turret is way too off and would require a lot of work (it has a fair overhang in the rear).
HTH,
Jan

Thanks Jan, I thought about posting it in their forum but I'm more interested in doing this in 72nd scale and don't think it would be of much help in the 35th scale forum.
I guess the biggest hurdles will be deck lay-out, turret, and road wheels to name but a few. This will definitely test my skill sets. I was under the impression that the T-80 series had more in common with the 64.

To be fair, it's not totally 1/35 and the people there know quite a bit about the differences.

There are drawings on the Net of the T-64 and there are walk a rounds on Prime Portal. The T-64 and 80 are both from the same design team but the 64 and 72 are very close. The latter was a less expensive version of the former. I'm no Russian tank expert and my info is based on what I've read and pictures that I've seen.
Cheers,
Jan

Yes I've seen it and it looks very nice, just not sure I want to sell a kidney to get one ($91.00).
