I know it was supposed to be a German 222 armoured car , but it was a fake . It seems they used a couple of different mock ups in the show Alllo Alllo . In the first couple of series the the car had what I would call a hatch back style enrty door , in later series it had side opening double doors , both in the rear of the vehicle . So what front engined armoured car or all wheel drive vehicle did they modify to represent the 222 ? Would like to kitbash one to use with the MiniArt French civilians and a model of Rene's Cafe . Finally found a use for those terrible Plus Models figures " Waiting on the Corner " , Fairfax & Carstairs in drag as French Tarts

Damm . I was hoping I could just shorten a AC kit and add a few bits . Guess its build the whole body from plastic sheet . Never did have any luck getting all those angled body shapes to match up on each side on the other scratch biulds I've tried

I'd almost hazard a guess that it might be a Marmon Herrington, judging by the incline of the rear of the vehicle as seen in this clip:

The Marmons had similar shaped buttocks, but a much longer nose:

The vehicle used in the series appears to be standing in the History on Wheels museum in Eton Wick England. You could try sending them a mail to ask what the basis of the vehicle was. I'm pretty sure they can help you out in finding your answers
