Actually that looks like the mount for a 30 Cal MG that the early tanks had not a shell hit. You can see the barrel in the mount on the other side. These guns were fixed firing and not left in the tanks very long since they served almost no purpose but to take up space and add weight.

Ok, thanks! I had doubt about that, but was not sure.

What filter color is good for olive drab in North Africa? Maybe tan or light brown, considering the sunny conditions.
Cheers!

Hi Venelin,
good to "have you back" on the project!
The question about the antenna is a tough one though!!
Fortunately we have experts for german equipment on the forum..!! Let's see if they can answer it...and if not, you can do as you please!
Regarding filters for OD, I would recommend to use them sparingly as these vehicles didn't have much time to fade in the sun....not even mentioning that there is more to NA weather than just blazing sun! The Afrika Korps capitulated in May 43 if I recollect correctly, so the tunisian affair was a winter thing (and the US had not crossed the continent to arrive there!)
If I may suggest: a comparatively small damage would be possible (1 track thrown f.ex.).
Keep up the good work!!!
Cheers

Thanks, Romain!
I'm pretty sure that the antenna is the shorter one (1.4m), but asking just to be sure
As for the filters, I agree with your opinion, considering those light tanks didn't survive much battles . And yes, I will do minor damage, thinking for blown track on the one side and some battle damage on the hull.
I'm waiting for some templates for the marking, because personally don't like decals , when they arrive I'll continue the work.
Cheers!

Thanks, Romain!
Yes, I have many pics of Tunisian landscape, but still not decided what material to use for the ground to look more realistic. I'm trying different things now, I will see how will turn out each of them
Regards!
