I have been working on a White Scout car and have taken a long hiatias to contemplate rebuilding the skate rail. The one in the kit is really god awful, and I would really like to build something nice. Has anyone else rebuilt one, or would anyone have some good ideasas to how to go about it?

The skate rail on mine broke when I was building it, I pondered doing a replacement, but could not come up with an easy way to do it. I also could not find a replacement. I did a google search with no results. If you come across something please post it here.

You can order a replacement part through Testors online site. No idea what to use for a scratchbuilt replacement. How about a piece of I beam from Plasistruct or one of those other styrene stock manufacturers?
