I really love the Game The last of us and the show the walking dead I want to do a diorama of a survivor with a meng pick up and his dog
I want to use my academy M1151 as either national guard or military police my big question is would it be tan or nato 3 color

I would say "Do what you want!" because it's not a historical depiction anyway. But, if you want a little bit more believability I would lean towards the NATO colors since they would only use tan vehicles in a desert climate like Iraq.
Interested to see how this turns out. Any thoughts on figures? What will you use to depict civilians?

FWIW, The Vietnamese woman figure in the Academy 1/35 M113 Vietnam is about 9/10ths of the way to being a zombie already!

perhaps you've misunderstood the situation.

FWIW, the SC Army National Guard has a mix of 3-color NATO and Desert Tan Camo schemes on our vehicles. I would say that there is a mix present in most States' NG units.
ESSAYONS!

Either NATO three color, tan, or even green would be accurate. When vehicles return from deployment they are not immediatley repainted and we ride around in tan vehicles in the states every day. Also, vehicles ocassionaly are delivered with no camo applied and are put into service before the camo is applied, hence the green.

And I have ANOTHER cliff hanger....I'm going for zombie/ apocalypse dioramas myself and had hoped to find out what happened to the The Last Of Us/TWD diorama build that was going to be made. And can't find any reference.
