Very nice M1.
I'm struggling to get the right look on the US desert yellow at the moment (it's either too yellow, too cream or pinkish) so it's always good to see one with a well balanced finsh and great weathering .....
cheers

Very awesome.
Incredible weathering and attention to detail.
I love the stowage - like the come-along strap and all the details.
Photographing w real light and shadows adds a new dimension that most of us don't get when taking pics of builds. I'm going to try that new photo shoot!

Thanks for all the kind words! Brent, I used Model Master Sand, 33531 for the base coat. Weathering was done with AK's OIF weathering kit, and of course typical pigments and pastels.

Bruce, using sunlight/shadow was recommended to me by someone here a while back as my pictures never looked right. it really works! Background is just a large sheet of poster board.

Finally 100% complete, the difference from the previous pics is the spent shells and links, fixed the color of the tow bar (should have been green - just looked tan because of the coating of dust), and added an m4 carbine (the vets were clear that they had all weapons going during the Thunder Run, some ran out of everything including 9mm side arms). So call this one done!

Really like it. The weathering looks very realistic; the back panels especially.
