I made this diorama a while ago and I decided to post some pictures of it. I love The Walking Dead and the first episode was my favorite so I decided to model this scene. The walls and doors are sheet styrene and the figure is on of the academy figures from Verlinden which was heavily modified to look like Rick in a hospital gown.

That's just awesome. I've loved light box dios ever since seeing Shep Paines but haven't the ability to pull them off.

Great job, Ryan! You really captured the mood of the scene. Very, very cool.
How about doing one of that M60 crashing through the fence at The Prison!

That's just plain cool. And it's from one of my favorite shows.
Were the lights flickering in the hospital? I don't remember.

Wow!! Well done indeed!!!
Don't know the show, but this is just great!!
The only thing I would change is the lighting: cold in the show, warm in the dio. Maybe use cold white LEDs, or just a filter!??
Cheers

Thanks, Claude!
Well, not a break actually, perhaps not so productive as I would have hoped for and a more bit active on Planet Figure.
Cheers

Very cool! You captured the scene perfectly. Makes me want to make a dio of Rick hiding in the M1A1 while being swarmed from the first season.
This is my reaction the first time I read the doors.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I really had a lot of fun building this little light box vignette and I think it turned out pretty well (If I do say so myself).
