That is very interesting indeed, so many ideas come to mind when I see this.
The challenge is that inside the buildings you also need to decorate the rooms and probably set some furniture and civilians inside. that's a lot of work and details there.

The buidlings are more N. Africa / Marocco than Middle East. They look nice, just not really good for a Middle East setting.

Something to think about. With very little modification this set could be transformed into an Italian setting.
