Ok, I'm looking at getting rolling on a long-simmering project, an OIF AAV-7 with EAAK (again). Two quickies.....
A) How common is it to see the troop commander in that second hatch behind the driver
and
B) What's the Likelihood of that individual wearing some of the Molle vests.....

While I can't speak for the likelihood of seeing the troop commander in the second hatch, I know for a fact that the vast majority of Marines in country during OIF were wearing the new Interceptor body armor, we wore it in place of the MOLLE FLC because the FLC was too much of a pain dismounting and remounting armored vehicles. If you dipict the Marines wearing the pouches on the vest you're right on with how we did it.
