Hi everyone,

I'm doing these for a Campaign, so I'm doing a BuildLog that might help others too.
Not everyone is a devoted Campaigner so here goes !

Here goes :

It's going to be a slow build, stay tuned for more

Looking good so far. I'll be watching this one for sure. The T-62 is one of my favorites.

@Seth & Cagkan

Thanks for watching guys !
It's going to be a slow build but since I'm doing them for a Campaign.. well I'm planning to finish them within the deadline.

I was considering doing them at them same time but the possibility of switching parts, misplacing them on the wrong box .. mmh no way. One T-62 at the time

I'll need to check some references for camo possibilities and also weathering both on Afeghan & Ossetian conflicts.

Thanks guys !

Let me know if you need any info on the 62s in Afghanistan or South Ossetia, would be more than happy to help.

It's a very nice kit.

I'll start painting the lower hull before adding the wheels.

Rest of the wheels

Hull primed (just missing the front lights & lights protection cage), painting the lower hull & suspension is next, then wheels & tracks.

Excellent progress. Another enlisted campaigner doing a multi-build. I was thinking of building one at a time in sequence like it looks like you're doing.

That would have made me crazy. It would be like finishing and then starting all over agin with the same (similar) thing. So, I'm building three in parallel in hopes to finish all three

I know.
But I'm doing so many Campaigns at the moment.. I hope to finish both of them in due time.

Thanks Jeff !

Besides the awful Tamyia kit, Trumpeter has several Russian versions, and will come out next year with a few Irak versions too.
Thanks for watching !

I think Voyager makes a slat armor kit in PE for your second kit pictured there and that's what I'll try to shoot for.

Then the Buffalo with the bar armor and I will have done all I can! LOL

Having many fires going is the only way to keep your interest high in model building.

I would to try the slat for this one, the versions in Ossetia and Georgia with the BBD Mod 84. had slat armour, at least from the photos I've checked but 2 builds for this Campaign/BuildLog is more than enough ... oh the Voyager set was unavailable at my usual stores.
