Have any of you built the Tamiya Willys or Ford Mutt Jeeps? If so, how is the detail on these models? Are the details of the engines modeled well? Let me know.

The Tamiya Willys is superb (new moulding) this is an example of what can be done with the kit:

Hi Lion

I built the Mutt a number of years ago. the detail is not bad, I don't think it came with an engine. There is a 24th scale kit of a Willys that I saw in finescale that looked pretty good. I not sure who makes it, but it does have what appears to be a complete engine. hopfully some of the other folks can tell you more, good luck.

Both are very decent kits. The Tamiya Mutts are a dime a dozen since Academy released an updated M151A1 and M151A2. Both are very buildable kits.

The new Willys Jeep is outstanding. The 1/24 one is made by Hasegawa and is supposed to be outstanding as well.

The Tamiy mutt is not a bad kit at all. It has no engine with it.
