hi all,
I'm new here.

so my question is: how do you get an accurate gun barrel for the Tamiya M8 HMC?
I've seen it done so many times, but never an explanation to go with it.

Indeed. The breech could use a little work, but the barrel, in and of itself, ain't too bad.
