Very cool build. I can't believe no one has made a 35th SPG-9. There are a lot of modeling possibilities for that weapon.

Great build! Especially the SPG 9. Given your scratchbuilding skills on this you should consider approaching a resin manufacturer and making masters of the SPG9 or cast it yourself as a kit. I know I would buy one or two!
Great work and look forward to seeing more of your builds!
Best regards and Merry Xmas

This is truly epic work- a very thorough scratch-build of a great looking vehicle. The detailing and weathering right down to the engine is awesome.
Merry Christmas !

Vladislav
,
This is excellent; not often shown as a subject - the SPG 9 is amazing.
Can I ask what paint you used for the vehicle?
On a not unconnected note, I found a few pictures of UAZ 469s from the same unit shown on exercise; they were camouflaged with foliage, had white stripes added and were, I think shown exiting a helicopter. Does anyone know where this site might have been?
Thanks guys in anticipation.
Regards,
Brian

Ian, thank you! Make a set of resin for me will be very difficult, but worth thinking about it.
And I congratulate you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Brian,
Thank you for your kind words!
I used paint Humbroll MATT 78
Here are a few photos found me in the network. Their authorship is known to me
I do not know who in this photo: Germans or Poles?
Here are photos of cars unit Luftsturmregiment 40:
And this picture - last NVA parade forty years of GDR October 7, 1989:

Photos modification with SPG. These vehicles were not the only paratroopers, but also in the border service and may be somewhere else. White triangular marks on the tailgate of the car were, to my knowledge, the border guards:

Vladislav,
These are all excellent pictures - thank you for posting them.
The third picture down is very similar to the one I recall but I note as well that it may also be Polish.
Thank you again for all your help; all I have to do now is to build one!

Brian,
You're welcome!
I looking at this picture again,
and i think that it is Germans. Because in the front i see fog lights like a NVA DDR
