OK Not to throw an ANCHOR, but what about this one.

The DML Firefly Hybrid IC
TAMIYA M4A3 Put in a bag shake & bake = Sherman 2C & a Sherman composite M4A3 Late

Why?

The DML kit gives two options. Build the Firefly IC (low bustle) or an American flame tank (high-bustle with a commander's hatch collar). The IC needs a few tweaks-- leave off the pistol port, add a gunner's side turret bulge. I haven't explored the flame tank enough to make any judgements.

The Tamiya M4A3 needs blocked sponsons, a turret bulge, engine hatch bumpers, and a few other tweaks to make it "right" -- Tim Streeter has a great list of tweaks and corections on his website: http://www.usarmymodels.com/ --click on "articles" and you'll find lots of Sherman model tips.

If you want to build an M4A3-based Firefly ... .... I'm not the guy to ask.

Hi guys:
First of all, thanks to everybody for the responses :-)
Just a little more, can somebody tell me what kind of M4A1 are this. They seam to have the low bustle turret, here are the pics:

After all I read I dicided that I will finish the low bustle turret and keep it for a future Sherman project, and I will search for a M4A3 high bustle one. If I can´t find one I will use one T23 from Italeri that I hace in my spares box.

Yup. Small-hatch M4A1 75mm dry stowage -- also note the applique armor. This may have been a partially remanufacutured tank -- note the final drive housing (a sharp-nose), the gun travel lock, the upswept return roller arms, etc.
