This is not typically how I like to start a post, but I am in need of a bit of help.
I typically build aircraft, but I got a good deal on a Dragon Sd.Kfz.131 Panzerjäger für Pak40/2 "Marder II" Kit #6262. So I picked it up.
What has happened is this: I started the model in September, and during October to December, I moved across the country. All my model building stuff got packed up, and somewhere in the process, I lost the transmission and drive assembly to the tank. I discovered this yesterday when I went to finish off the interior of the tank.
So does anyone have a spare transmission and final drive (that goes across drivers seat) that they might like to sell me? A unit from any Panzer II tank would most likely do, as this won't exactly be a museum piece when it is done. However, I don't what to have this large gaping hole in the interior when you look down into the tank.
I know there is a resin set available, but I was hoping not to spend that much money.
Thanks,
C. Alan

try finding a local hobby shop and see if they can order you a new spure for the pieces you need or you could try yourself but i have been told that dragon does not really deal with consumers the like to deal with vendors and as far as moving again ( i am moving from phx AZ to GA end of the month ) try paking all of the parts into the same box (i will be quiet as i am sure you did this) thats what i have done sorry off topic anyhow if you can not find a LHS look on ebay for the same kit see if you can get it cheap if this does not help i will think on it some more

Hey C.Alan, try dragon care on the web site. If that does not work you should be able to order the parts from thier supplier, M.R.C. in Edison. N.J. I dont have my notes with me but some one should have thier e-mail add. or phone number.

Dragon Care has come through for me a few times. I think there's only one or two guys working there, so it can take weeks.
Have some pictures ready, of the box, instruction sheet with part numbers you need etc.
