the tank appears to wear some kind of cullin device.
So, any clue which one?

Cullin Hedgerow Cutter/T-Bar Teeth ?

Here's another tank from the same unit, near Chateau-Salins in Lorraine in September 1944 (same area for the picture you've found). Maybe the cutter is the same as well :

To me, it looks like the 'spade' type that's provided in the Tasca M4A1 kit.

That's based solely on that single picture and no other background.
