Only pic I could find on Google. It's hard to make out, but I would imagine the Dennison smock would be too bulky and liable to snagging on everything it could in such a small vehicle. But then, you never know.

What war are you referring to? as these tanks saw action with
different operators and different time periods....WW2 or Arab/Israeli war?

Thanks for your advise. I was looking for something simliar to Biggles2 photo. I would think that it quite safe to say that they would just be using their battle dress.. But from the looks of the photo, it does look like a denison smock...

Even the head gear is not clear. Is it Para helmet, or RAC helmet? From that angle it could also be a beret!
BTW - if it is a beret, would it be black for Armor Corps, or maroon/red for paras??

Most likely a para helmet. The RAC and Para helmets were almost identical except for the harness and liner and given the Locust crews were Airborne troops and glidered in.
