Here are my latest shots of this dios progress. I took down the wall in favor of a fence( thanks Ken) The gate for the fence is leaning against the truck. Most of the kitchen ware is done...pots on the truck! Still havnt gotten all the figs I ordered...Still have a long ways to go but I figured I would throw up a few photos. This is one heck of an undertakeing.

As with all things that demand great patience and effort, you will derive great pleasure from the finished work. I know I will. Great job so far, I can't wait to see it completed.

I'll have a coffee and donut if you please... This is looking a lot better with out the stone wall. I am looking forward to seeing this one completed. It is a very original idea that you have come up with and it shows a subject that was there but never shown before during the war. Bravo

Very nice, but I don't think I'd leave those pots and drink coolers on top of the fold-up doors. They're too high to be useful and I think they would be too heavy for the window covers to hold.

there we are John I knew you had it in you to do an allmighty good job. You are well ahead of me at the moment as my figures will not be here until late Jan mid Feb next year. But I will get there and I hope mine comes out as good as yours will.

PvtParts,

It's working out very fine indeed.

How did you do the pots and other kitchenware ? AM kit, or scratchbuilt ? If scratchbuilt....how ??

Couple of suggestions, the pans/kitchenware would probably be white or black enamel. The large urns would be chrome finish. Regarding the important bit, the DonutWagen, it really is an impressive chunk of resin, with a couple of figures and a chow line, this really could be something special....Jim

Hey Jim, Being I couldnt find many reference photos. I did them in an aluminum finish. I could change them easily, though, and probably will. Thanks.

sorry Jim have to say otherwise here. They were more likely to be aluminium, with the coffee pot maybe being copper or brass. The urns would have been polished by the 'girls' to a high shine.
