Yeehaw! The budget is shot for this year but, along with the DML Firefly and some of the new stuff coming out from AFV Club, this is one must have kit for us British armor fans.

I believe the kit is a modification of their Mk II Crusader incorporating new parts like the sandshields, wheel covers and external mantlet., but as the Italeri Crusader isn't a bad kit to start with thats not a bad thing.

I shall be getting at least a few

Lots of useful parts for my Cruiser Mk IV project me thinks

Happy modelling

I've got an ancient Airfix Crusader III. A rather decent kit for its age. I think the Italeri kit has been re-tooled at least once, these are cool tanks though.

The AIrfix Crusader, in its day, was cutting edge, their Lee and Grant were also decent kits, curiously enough these were models that marked their decline as a company. Everyone else (apart from Monogram) had established 1/35 as a standard scale. Airfix, by investing a fortune in (excellent) tooling had less to invest in what they could have competed in- 1/48th scale aviation...real pity...Jim
