Hi all,
I have one question about the BRDM-2 (late) by Trumpeter. When did this variant production start?
Were the East German BRDM-2 painted in a lighter green than the Soviet vehicles? If so, any idea on which colour to use?
Thanks in advance,
Ricardo

Both the NVA and VP used the BRDM-2. I'm not sure when the late variant went into production. The East Germans didn't paint their vehicles the same color as the other Warsaw Pact countries; they favored a kind of grayish green.

Would something like RLM02 be close to this colour? I checked some photos and they just look lighter than Soviet BRDM-2.
Checking the instructions of the Dragon BRDM-2, they indicate a 50:50 mix of Light Green (Gunze H312) and Dark Green (Gunze H320).
