I really wanted to be the first to congratulate u on the complete dio my friend Engin. This a marvelous work. I Like very much beside all the others the figure painting (which i expected to be very nice any way ) and the work on the concrete frame is also nice and very beautiful weathered. One think i would probably add is some more personal items as food stuff or some drinking cans or everyday things that are normally to be there since the guys are stack in there, they have the time to read the paper, i believe that some signs of everyday life could be added. Overall is an excellent work and at the time i ll be as good as you in painting i ll be very happy !!!!! (:-)

Yeah I like it, however I can't say the figures fill me with any enthusiasm, you've done an excellent job with painting them, but it seems to me that these are the old Tamiya ones... Now you probably have the same problem as me (with sources of figures etc.) but at some point in the future I would change them for some better ones, simply put, the figures don't do justice to the rest of the diorama which is superb. Perhaps some converted figures would be better?....All the best, Jim

Nice job overall. Techniques are very well executed all around - construction, painting, weathering, detailing - all expertly done.
The story is what is leaving me flat. I would have liked to have seen the guy pointing, pointing 'for' someone. To me it looks as if he's pointing for no one in particular. Maybe if he were to the right of the seated figure pointing back over his shoulder. That may convey the fact that he's just spotted something and the guy needs to drop the paper and get to it.
Another thing that would have made the figure reading really stand out would be to have his helmet off and sitting next to him. That would have really given the feeling that he's relaxing.
I have to agree with a previous post about access to 'extra' resources. Sometimes it's hard to go the extra mile because you can't get certain things. So I understand working with what you have.

Thank you very much all for the nice comments and especially for your critics. They always show me the right way for my next diorama.
Costas- Adding some food and drink stuff especially next to the reading soldier would be great. Food stocks, crates and a few bottles could make a better scene.
Scott- I agree soldier with the newspaper should have his helmet off and put next to him,this could be better.I also agree your comments about the story. I made some mistakes choosing the figures and posing them to express an Achtung!Spitfire story. I think my mistake is;
You cant read a newspaper or stand next to the camo net when someone pointing a spitfire. It would be better to make the figures in panic. A figure trying to stand up leaving to read the newspaper could be better and the other one could make long steps towards the flak. Now I see my two figures are too relaxed for a spitfire warning . The other way was not to put a pointing figure here with 2 other relaxed figures.
Panzer- all I can say I would like to see this link before I build my dio.
Jim- This is the first time I build a diorama base before the figures. I made, painted and weathered the diorama base and then I started the figures. Honestly, finishing the diobase gave me a bad sense to finish the diorama quickly.Unfortunately I lost my concentration on the figures (also the flag). I am afraid this caused some problems.
Kevin- It is made of plaster, sandbags from milliput.

Good job Gray Wolf. There are alot of details and that gives a good realistic look. Do I see some spent cartridges? Great job!!!

Great, great dio! The one point that i am confused on is the spent cartriges. If they are between actions, the floor would have been cleared off so that nothing would cause a person to lose his footing. If they are still in action that guy should not be reading the newspaper(great job on hin anyway). I still like the dio though I am impressed.

Merhaba Engin,
Çok güzel olmuş :-)
I like the figures especially and the concrete also.
By the way..it can easily be the moment the "pointing guy" have seen the "spitfire" :-)
I mean just that moment, instant, rite ?
Congratulations again

Ok...First let me say, I'm writing this without reading any other's remarks about your work...that's the way I think these remarks should be presented. (Otherwise we all end up saying...ditto to what the others say) The dio is fantastic...one of the best colored scenes I've seen on this site to date. Something about your use of color has added a sense of mood to the overall look. Great job on that.!!
Flag fabric looks real..the gun is as close to perfect as the manufacturers of the kit intended it to be. I like the figures (II would like to see some wear and tear on the uniforms...that's the one thing you never see much of in this scale.
One question though, how many "spent shells" are on the ground? ( I count only ten) I would think if they had had even just one encounter with the enemy, there would be alot of shells around.
Once again GW, fantastic job.

Great to see the dio finished Graywolf. Overall I think you made a great job. The highlight for me being the bunker itself and the painting/weathering of it.
Take all the critic in positive frame of mind. I have read throught the thread and there are some excellent points to take into account the next time you build a dio. Its not always easy to take into account everything, when building and putting a scene together. That will come with experience. I have learnt a whole bunch by posting dios from time to time, and believe the help and points of view like this have helped me so much. Keep building, keep posting and keep listening. I look forward to seeing more like this in the future!!

Thanks all for nice comments and critics.
Venom- I agree about the flag.At least I learned that flags from metal foil are always more realistic than the paper ones.I thought I can made some folds to the flag when I was gluing the flag with water+white glue to the concrete but it didnt l work. I regret for the ironed look of flag
capnjock- You may be right about the cartridges.I tried not to put cartridges where the flak crew will walk .please think that : you have a break between spitfire attacks and you want to red newspaper for a short while, do you pick the cartridges or push them to places where you will not step.
M113 and her majesty Ladymodeler2- thanks bro and sis.size de selamlar ve iyi yıllar
kglack43- i picked most of the cartridges after capnjocks post just kidding.
Plasticbattle- i will keep building ,posting and paying attention to critics...i know who shares wins.
