Reading through the instructions a bit more thoroughly, and comparing them to the Tankograd TM 6018 manual, has raised a few points.
1: The vehicle in the box is a T981. It has the cutout on the left of the front bumper to facilitate self-recovery. The 980 didn't have this.
2: There is no explanation in the instructions for how to thread the recovery cable, either to the front or rear. The only mention of the thread is here on page 12:
The appropriate TM or Tankograd's book can help with this. You will need to thread the cable before you put the loop on the end, otherwise it won't fit. Which leads us to point 3.
3: There is nothing in the instructions showing what to put on the end of the cable. So you get a cable that ends in a cable. No loop, or hook; nothing. I checked the sprues through quickly and couldn't see any parts either.
4:(This one is kind of funny) In step 17 (page 19) all the arrows and arrowheads showing part placement are drawn in by hand.
I'm really looking forward to starting this kit. These 4 points are minor and easily overcome. Maybe they can correct the instructions on an extra sheet of paper.

It sure is Hisham! And there's lots of potential for doing after war scenarios too!
