I've been searching high and low for an M60A3 to replace one my ex- destroyed many moons ago, and discovered it was out of production. So, I bought an M60A1 with the reactive armor, and guess what, everything I need to do my A3 is in the box...the Armor Gods have smiled upon me!!! Now my T55 has something to play with. Here Ivan, Ivan, Ivan`... come out and play.

Ahh the M60A3, I spent many fun filled days as a driver, Gunner and Commander on those Iron Pigs. Outstanding piece of equipment. Always dependable.

The best M60A3TTS was made by Esci and was kit #5040. It was issued in 1990-92 time frame. Revell of Germany has reissued this kit during 2003 and it is kit #3057. Loved my time as an M60A3TTS platoon leader. That vehicle taught a crew how to tank and to maintain a tank.

You may want to take a look at my site (if you haven't already). I have a huge set of walkaround pictures of an M60A3.

I know there are a few A3s still in production, I've bought a couple lately.

Don,
Outstanding site, I book marked it myself. I spent two years in an A3 equipped armor battalion in Germany at a lovely little vacation spot - Wildflecken with 1/68 Armor we not only got to shoot there, we got to live there...

I'm currently in the middle of an M60A3 kit. It's 1:35 by Revell. An Awesome kit that I'm really enjoying. (:-)
FYI it's kit #03057

This was one heavy crew maintained tank. Nothing complicated about. I spent my time on A3s at FT. Carson. Baumholder Germany 2/68 AR .
