I have the AFV Club M41 tank and their PE kits. I know there is a different kit with West German markings, but what would be the difference anyway, besides color and markings? I get the idea the M14G tank is actually a poorer kit that the regular M41.

The German M41 had turret mounted smoke launchers(later models only), added lights on front fenders, added tail lights, and convoy light. I've never seen a German one without these parts FYI. I've built the 41G, what makes it inferior to to the standard kit? All AFV did was add German sprues to the kit.

Like Erik says, the German version kit includes two extra sprues for the specific German parts. ("H" sprue X 2 )

Actually, the kit I had lacked a metal barrel (I suppose I can get one aftermarket) and poor quality tracks and mantlet cover.
