Fully agree with Christopher...his musical tastes are just fine!!!! ....seriously, the tutorial is a hit too!! Cheap and easy, that's how I want things in modelling!!

Here is my water effect with cheap poster colors and caulking clear silicone. Cost lest than $7 ..

I used this method.

I haven't actually used that oatmeal & CA mixture (breakfast of champions!
). I usually use good old Celluclay airbrushed water shades, and brushed over with gloss acrylic paste - thick or thin paste depending on what kind of water surface I want. The thick paste can be teased up into breaking wave tops. Artist's acrylic pastes (Liquetex, etc., or store brands) are available from artist supply shops.
