Hi everyone.
Taking a small and long time coming break from modern.
After Kinetic builds I find Tamiya calms the nerves.
Got the new LRDG kit.As usual all went together well, moveable parts actually move and a decent supply of stowage. The box says 7 figures, which is right, but the originals I found rather useless. The MB figures are very good.I love MB figures, but I wish they would label the parts on the sprue. It's such a pain having to find them on the photo making sure you have it in the right angle.
All in all, nice kit, worth the money.

Looks real good Tom. You're right about the MB figs too. Makes me want to pick up the old Tamiya SAS jeep, it's on my nostalgia build bucket list lol

cheers

Thanks guys,
Yes Roy,small dio in waiting.I want to have them stuck by a small oasis.Should have the MB command figures by Monday. What I picture is screaming for a palm and a camel.
Brent, the SAS jeep was the thing I was thinking of during this build.I have an old one I did years ago that may come off it's base and added. It was a great little kit.

Hi guys,
Got the MB set Sat.so I have my camel.Didn't realize it would be so much work.I knew I would never get some of the blanket design right so I painstakenly cut some from carpet ads and super glued to them.I'll use the Indian soldier, but I'd like to use the rest.Too many for the one vehicle.Any suggestions?Like to use the general too.Thinking of maybe the Quad.
