Hi
Iam trying without much success to find a photo of the M151 Tow combo that shows how the square control box? is connected to the launcher. A photo I found of the ground mount seems to show a cable from the box up the centre of the mount but I cant see this being the case with the launcher on the 151.
Any help appreciated.

Same hook up is used for ground mount and vehicle mount. There is a thick cable that is semi gloss black in color with an aluminum screw connector that attaches the cable to the control box. this cable then runs up the center of the tripod mount. It is permanently attached to the cradle device that sits on top of the tripod and this cable gets coiled when stowed and fits in a recess in the bottom of the cradle.
The ground mount uses battery power from re-chargable batteries that are in the control box but when hooked up to a vehicle this battery assy is removed and replaced by a similar sized part that has a cable hook-up to the vehicles' battery so you don't need to re-charge all the time.
More info that you wanted maybe but I was in a typing mood.

Actaully no slot. It went straight down the center on the tripod.
