Hey guys does any manufacturer make a barrel for the Tamiya M51 Sherman? I have checked the usual suspects; RB Model, Armorscale, Lionmarc etc and not had any luck. Thanks in advance.

2 options but not really standalone barrels, Accurate Armour makes a detail set for the M51 which does give you a corrected muzzle break(designed for the Dragon or Academy kit, Tamiya has a correct muzzle break), or DEF has a conversion to back date the M51 to a first batch vehicle with the early muzzle break. The Accurate Armour detail set is great for a later version than the Tamiya kit and the folks at AA are great to deal with. Have not seen the DEF set yet, Lucky, Easy Model, and I think Sprue Brothers all carry DEF all great shops to deal with.

Muzzle _brake_. It slows things down, so it is a "brake".
Sorry, pet peeve.

Hey Andrew !
What's your attitude to Aber of Poland?
The thing is a couple of years ago I've seen their barrel on an exhibition in Nuremberg, but couldn't find it neither in shops nor on their site. I asked them for details and here is their reply as of November 14 2013:
'The product which you are asking about were test sample for our customers.
Their production will be a beginning of the next Year.
Best regards,
ABER team'
So, let us hope!
