The sling is a little on the heavy side but the figure itself is very good with great face painting.

Thanks CMOT, oh yeah looks ugly but I decided to keep it unmodified to see how far I could go now. Actually it was done around September 2013, a month after my I started to paint my first figure

Looking good bud. I must agree with Darren Baker on the sling thou. I use electrical tape for items like that. More thinner.

For just starting out with painting this is wonderful work!! Great painting skills for sure.
I agree about that sling though,it is very distracting. I use lead foil from the tops of wine bottles. Cheap stuff and then you get to drink the wine!!

The sling can be easily overlooked, as the painting is superb!

You are very talented! The (classical) painting is top quality! I'd be interested to see the figure from a "1/35 distance", i.e. not enlarged!
The sling is not only to big, it also sits on the edge of the shoulder...not for very much longer I'm afraid!
