Greetings!

ASUKA MODELS (Formerly TASCA MODELLISMO) is pleased to announce its' new kit of the American Bantam Recon Car (AS 24-005) in 1:24 scale. This was the first vehicle ready which met and exceeded the specifications issued by
the U.S. Army and War Department. American Bantam, as a company was fully prepared to begin mass production while none of the competing companies were even close. In spite
of this and also due to some government "shenanigans", the major contracts went to Ford and Willys-Overland while American Bantam got a contractfor only 2500 vehicles. Of these, about 1000 went to the Russians and about 116 went to the U.K.

This type of vehicle became known as the "Jeep". As the
photo shows, this kit is complete with a full engine, transmission, drive train, passenger interior, exterior details and rubber tires. ETA is late February and we are
taking pre-orders. Here is the link:
