I have noticed this kit, reissue of the old ESCI, which I believe is the same for the new M60A1 release... how good it this?

ESCI kits are the best 1/35 M60s. Italeri reboxed M60A1 and Revell reboxed M60A3. Some details are better in Tamiya kits, some in Academy kits, but in general ESCI M60s are the most accurate.

He's right. I've got the old Esci M60A3TTS and Esci M60A1 (as well as a bunch of their Blazers). Very good kit, the tracks are rather tender. When I get to it, I will pick up the AFV Club workable tracks and redo mine (using both the T-142 and the M48/60/88 chevron pattern).
I'm using a Blazer hulls to accurize the Tamiya M60A2 and to build a CMD Slick 60.

I just started building the Revell 1:35 M60A3 a couple of nights ago and I have to say I'm really enjoying it. The previous post about the track being fragile is right on target. But all and all this kit is really coming together and has awesome detail.

Thanks a lot! I have the AEF Slick 60 turret... not sure when I will get around to that beast. I have to finish 3-4 tanks that at 80-90% complete before I touch that one again! I will have to get one of the M60A3's now... and, yeah, I use AFV tracks on all my M48/60 beasts.
