an unual subject, so I like it

Does this mean they start making a lot of T-55 based vehicles? Would be nice if they did...

Hi Mat, it appears the Riich kit is the twin launcher only (check PMMS here , I just posted a photo of the Polish T-55 quad launcher as being a step closer! Unfortunately I don't think Riich will develop the T-55 based hull, maybe one of the other Chinese companies will step up someday?

As I know, the cuban-army use / used this combination of the T-55 tank and the 4-missile-launchers.

Also there are kits in 1/72 available.
"Zebrano" and "PST" made kits from this combination.

I agree, it would be interesting to see more "unusual" vehicle or objects.
Thanks to Riich for the "SA-3 Goa" (S-125)!

Soeren

PS: "Neva" could be incorrect for the 2-missiles-version.
"Pechora" should be more correct... but I´m not sure.

Hi Everybody;
from A Personal Standpoint, I really like this Announcement from Riich Models as it give the Collector such as myself or the Normal Modeler something that's Different. Now I cant speak for other People, but I myself look for other Subjects that are Different. And Thanks too Jim for the Picture and Informing us that That is what you are NOT Getting in the said kit. ! The only Countries other than Poland too use the T-55 Based Vehicle is Cuba, and they also use the SA-2 mounted on the T-55.
Now I have too admit that this will not be a top seller, as it will draw more Interest from the Dio, Modeler or the Collector. And as has already been stated it will only Appeal too the After Market Guys too come up with Vehicles like the T-55 Transporter. In Any Case, I will Collect this For Sure !!!

Hi Everybody;
Sorry for the O.T. --But just could not resist !!
There is another Vehicle besides the T-55 Based transporter, its the Truck transporter version with the Quad Goa missiles mounted on the platform on the back.
Now that's another Interesting conversion that I would Really like too see.
In Concords Book; Journal of Armored Assault & Heliborne Warfare,(Vol.3 #7803 )there is some nice pictures of the Newa system. The Largest user of this system is Poland's 91st Missile Air Defense Division.
If one of our other Members will post pictures of that system, that would be Great !
Again, Sorry for the OT. MIKE

Hi Guys;

Yea"--- It Kind of looks like thet have Gone the other way as did X-Act with there so called T-84 Oplot !
IMHO the companies that Make Big Statments and then Don't follow up are not on my Top Maker List; and are not long for fan support or to stay in Business !!!!!!!
