Hello All,
Looking for pictures of the Russian MAZ-537 with markings for Afghanistan. Building the Trumpy kit...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Richard
So you're still working on the MAZ ?

Here are two pics showing MAZ-537s used by the Afghan Army, but the trailer is not the one released by Trumpeter...

What type of trailer did they use in those pictures. I always thought they had the one type used with the Maz 537. Do they make that trailer in those pictures in plastic or resin.

Hi Frenchy,
I should have been more specific...I meant Russian Unit markings. I've searched around but can't seem to find any...most pics show no markings which is ok, I am just looking to add more interest to the model if possible.
I actually didn't start the model til about two weeks ago, but I'm almost finished with the Tractor ! Wife, kids, work always seem to get in the way. Hoping to have it done for the AMPS show in Virginia in April....
Very interesting example you have pictured there...thanks for your reply !!

Hi!
The trailer is a ChMZAP 9990 which is the more modern one for the MAZ 537 and used in various contries. The trailer unfortunately only exists in resin scale 1/72 from Armada Hobbies. No kit so far in 1/35.

The only decals for a Russian Maz-537 are from Bison Decals 35-101
Soviet Tanks in Afghanistan.
A nice decal sheet
